Description

This proposal addresses the statement in proposal #129 concerning the 4% tax rate previously allocated to Secret Foundation, which was diverted to fund Secret Agency LLC:

Quote: --The Secret Agency DAO (a Marshall Islands NON-PROFIT LLC) will receive these funds until the TEMPORARY transition period of THREE months is over. After that, the TEMPORARY funding has to be reassessed by another governance vote. The community will decide what will happen to any remaining funds after the three months are over. -- – As in: https://forum.scrt.network/t/the-0-secret-foundation-tax-proposal/6783

The on-chain tax has already been set to 0 via proposal #239 but the continued funding of Secret Agency DAO remains uncertain. Secret Agency DAO proposes to spend the leftover SCRT from the tax totalling roughly 200 000 SCRT to cover the may and june budget of roughly 55k USD per month. We ask for this allowance to remain true to the language in proposal 127 which clearly states the funds were to be used only for the 3 month period starting then. The long term intention for the Agency DAO is to get funding via the renewed NPO structure. However, if funding remains uncertain (no NPO before July) the Agency DAO will aim to come to the community pool in early june for July funding.

Details regarding agency operation, budget, metrics and transparancy are listed in the Q1 executive summary: https://forum.scrt.network/t/secret-agency-executive-summary-q1-2023/6928 . If additional information is required for you to make a vote please do not hesitate to reach out via the forum post or DMs. We also hope this proposal passing signals sufficient transparancy in the aforementioned Q1 report, a road towards a standardized report for the quarterly Agency executive summaries.
